la rentrée

I "started" school this past friday but all that really happened was one hour of reintroduction, much like school in the US except instead of going to six different classes hearing the same info over and over again, you go to one planning hour and get out early. (school started at 1:30 and ended around 3:00) On monday, the real classes start. School begins at 8:30 and I get out arond 2:30 that day (I'm staying at the Osmonts right now, because the Creances are out golfing or something like that, so I haven't got my schedule.) Two hours of french followed by two of gym give way into two hours of lunch and then an hour of english after and hour of math. I've got an easier schedule than most, which is good because I couldn't understand anything the teacher said. But her name is Mrs (Mme) Denis and she seems nice.

Instead of printing out the schedule, they do a dictation in class. It gets very complex because there's different groups, and also because it's all done in very quick teacher french (which is at least the proper french instead of the slang). I managed to get about 10 of the clqsses written down, partially by copying. After class I asked Mme Denis what my schedule was and with the help of Robin and his Friends my schedule was decifered.

I'll post more but I've got to go eat lunch.
